How and when did you tell your kids?

    Yes - everyone is the best judge for their own children and family dynamics. I will echo what some others have said: lots of children sense when something is wrong. I feel it's better in most cases to let them know what that "something" is. In my case, my kids (15, 13, 10) were sad and worried but also very supportive and somewhat empowered.
