Shirt size after single mastectomy?

I am looking at buying some button up shirts post single mastectomy since I currently have none. Because of my large breasts I have always gone up a size or two to reduce gapage. Should I still buy larger? My normal size? Smaller? A mix for with/without a foob?

I've heard it's best to get large shirts..we'll have those pesky drains to worry about.
