Micro calcification with pleomorphic appearance.

Had a 3D mammogram plus ultrasound last week. Mammogram picked up a microcalcification cluster with pleomorphic appearance in right breast & ultrasound picked up an 11mm lobulated soft tissue density lesion along side the microcalcification cluster. It was rated BIRADS 5. I had a core biopsy of the lesion today & should have results mid next week. I have an appointment with breast surgeon on 4th December to discuss open excision of microcalcification area. Feel rather anxious about it all.

Unfortunately, I can not so much to ease the anxiety which I can only imagine is overwhelming. Just know there are people out there sending good vibes your way and you are never alone.
