As far as I know it is a folk remedy for menopausal symptoms. Since menopausal symptoms (proof of low estrogen) are what we want, I have stayed away from it.

I threw away my dandelion root supplements. Unfortunately I bought in bulk so 5 bottles were tossed. Yes, it is a phytoestrogen and while good for cancer it is not good for ER+. We have to be careful with these supplements.
