Acupuncture for breast lymphedema pain and rib pain

I am 6 months post radiation. I have been in pain for 6 months. Breast is swollen, hot, red and extremely sore. Ribs hurt. Doctor said no more pain meds and I can't take NSAID's so it's Tylenol. They have referred me to PT for massage (first appointment next week); referred me to Pain Management Clinic (first appointment Dec 5th!). They also gave me the name of an acupuncturist. I haven't made the appointment yet. Would appreciate hearing from others who have had acupuncture for breast lymphedema especially. Doubt there is much that will help the rib pain but at this point I'm trying any and everything.
