Suspected ductal papilloma-cause for concern?

I found a lump for the first time during self-exam and went to my pcp. He sent me for a mammogram and ultrasound. The radiologist said there appears to be "debris" in the duct (mass is 13.5mm) and he suspects a benign interductal papilloma and a biopsy will determine the outcome. I am currently awaiting results from CNB. The lump was so tiny at first that I completely dismissed it. Over the course of a month it feels twice that size. I also had swelling and soreness in the armpit near the breast for a couple of days during the month. Can anyone tell me if interductal papillomas are know to grow rapidly? I can't seem to find that info elsewhere. Does anyone have a comparable experience that could offer insight as to what I may expect?

A benign intraductal papilloma is just that, a benign tumor (growth) consisting of tissue and gland in the milk duct of your breast.  They no doubt did the biopsy just to be sure that is what it is.  Here's to a quick benign result.

After pathology came back, I was diagnosed as having an "atypical fibroepithelial lesion" NOT a papilloma.

Further notes suggest a dx of phyllodes cannot be excluded.

Phyllodes can be benign, malignant or somewhere in between. I won't know what I have until it is removed, which it will be in the coming weeks. They have a high recurrence rate if not removed with negative margins.

The report I was given does not give any details as to cell type found only "atypia" or any other details that would help me decipher what prognosis I can expect.
