edited November 2017 in Waiting for Test Results

I posted a while back on another board regarding a bleeding nipple on my left breast. This also happened about 6 years ago and it was a papilloma that was removed and benign. While it would be annoying to have it happen again, I assumed it was the same this time. Fast forward to an ultrasound, that showed only dilated milk ducts (the few I have left in that breast) but no papilloma. Then an MRI which turned up 2 8mm lesions (I still have not seen the image report, just going by what doctor tells me). Which then lead to an MRI guided biopsy which was done yesterday (not pleasant at all). Both lesions are very close to my nipple - which I am assuming explains why my nipple is bleeding? But if it is not a papilloma and from what I read duct ectasia does not cause bleeding nipples, I am beginning to get nervous.

So now, I wait. I don't see the doctor again until November 27th, but they said they would call me with the biopsy results before then. I am trying to be calm, but what are the odds this is Cancer?? I did have BRAC analysis due to family history and it was negative (thankfully) so that makes me feel a little better about all of this. This time there has been some radiating pain into my nipple both before and after the bleeding, which with my papilloma last time, the only symptom I had was the bleeding.

Just getting nervous and waiting is just horrible.
