Asymmetry more Prominent?

I had a mammogram in 2016 and was called back in the same day for repeat with ultrasound..everything was ok. When I had my mammogram this time I was told I needed to come back because there was assymetry in the right lateral breast and focal assymetry in the left upper outer quadrant that is more prominent than in the last screening. What does all this mean?

It sounds like there are some changes and they can't be sure what they represent. Are you going back for further testing? And did your report contain a BIRADs score?

I, too, also received a report of right lateral "asymmetry in the right breast posterior depth outer region
seen on the craniocaudal view only. No other significant masses, calcifications, or other findings are seen
in either breast. INCOMPLETE: NEEDS ADDITIONAL IMAGING EVALUATION The asymmetry in the right breast is indeterminate. An ultrasound is recommended." BIRADS 3. Nothing corresponding seen on ultrasound. Diagnostic mammogram in 6 months. Thought to be residual bruising from air bad in car accident 4 months ago...anybody else have this or something similar resolve to be just bruising? ATM mutation with significant family history.
