Livermets

When I got diagnosed they found "something" in my liver... small spots too small to say if they are malign/benign. Some weeks ago a diffuse pain started ... pain in the area under my right ribs. It is not at strong pain, but it is definitly there. What are the first symptoms in livermets

Hi. I had widespread liver mets; scattered star pattern and lesions. No symptoms. I was diagnosed because I couldn't breathe. Turns out I had cancer cells in my lung arterioles!

But everyone is different. Hoping you resolve the liver concern and it is all good news.

Many people have benign liver lesions.  Have you had metabolic blood tests recently?  They would include liver function tests, which usually will be abnormal should something be amiss in your liver.  You can certainly mention this to your  MO when you see him, but I wouldn't be terribly anxious about it.

My last bloodtests where normal. Still I do worry, but I do not want to tell my oncologist yet. He always make me feel stupid when I ask for tests...

Of course you worry! It's only natural, considering what you've been through.

I have several spots on my liver that turned out to be cysts. I agree with Cive that your blood work would be probably be off if something was going on with your liver.

The location of the pain you mention could be related to your gall bladder. My onc always says that if something hurts for more than 2 weeks, I should let him know. If this is continuing for you, definitely mention it to your onc.
