My case has been riddled with mishandling, and I'm rushing against time trying to mitigate any risk. I am having a 2nd opinion at MSK in NYC, and will need to set up appointments on Monday. I very much appreciate any referrals to breast cancer oncologists in the city either on this thread or privately. As mentioned in the subject header, I am triple positive, possibly stage 2a or 2b. I'm 47, and my perspective is in line with the most aggressive chemo, and not mastectomy - so I welcome oncologists with that approach, but obviously at this point, any great referral is appreciated.

Other wish lists are:
1. is open to ordering scans, MRI's, or US
2. welcomes questions and provides answers
3. accessibility - office returns calls, somewhat easy to make appts

Thank you so much!

Tinyfrog so sorry you've had a bad experience while going through this. I'm going to Sloan in Middletown, NJ and I use Dr. Wong. I believe she also works out of the NYC location. She came highly recommended by a friend. Best wishes.

Tinyfrog, I'm so sorry your case has been poorly handled. I'm a patient at MSK and recommend my MO, Mary Ellen Moynahan. She's followed me for two years, and I believe she is highly skilled, very smart, and compassionate. One warning: she is abrupt in manner, and it took me several months to see through that and figure out how to effectively communicate with her. But I do recommend her highly; the whole MSK team works together very well. Good luck!
