Severe heartburn years after radiation

I had radiation in 2006 for stage one breast cancer. For about the past two months I’ve experienced severe heartburn. I have never had heartburn except during pregnancy. Just wondering if it could possibly be from the radiation years ago? It doesn’t matter what I eat, it happens with even a sip of water. Thanks in advance
