MA32 Study of Metformin

Hello from a Canadian living in England! I am coming to the end of a 5 year trial of Metformin MA32. I was wondering if anyone here has also participated? (It is in several countries) I would dearly love to continue to take it, and will be asking my family doctor about that possibility next week. If any of you have been on it, and are now finished, did you notice any changes (negative or positive)? Thanks for any advice! Feel free to PM me if you don't want to post publicly.
