I saw my surgeon yesterday for my 6 month check-up, but earlier this week I found a lump. It's in the same breast where I've had a mastectomy, then a year later a lumpectomy with radiation. My dr. said this better be nothing, but sent in the referral for the ultrasound and mammo. I hate having a mammo on my mastectomy side. I'm small as it is, then with the implant they have a really hard time trying to get an image.

I'm hoping it is nothing. It gets tiring going through this. I just needed to share so it gets off of my mind, but I don't share with my family. I don't want them to stress out or worry about this. I feel bad if I tell my friends because then they get concerned, but I want to share what's on my mind. Having other people who understand helps.

Kbee I have to wait until Monday for the referral to go through then will schedule an appointment. She wants it scheduled when a specific dr is in. I had an MRI I think in May of this year and it didn't yield good results in the sense of seeing anything. I guess we will see based on the results.
