Just had my results it's a fibroadenoma

My breast care nurse just rang me with my results from a lunpectomy I had last week and the results are b9 ππ
They said I don't need any further follow ups or anything which I'm a bit aprphensive about cause I would feel more comfortable if I had some further exams in the future am I allowed to just book an exam and ultra sound in say 6 12 months or do I need to be referred by my gp? I just want to keep on top of it from now on
