Hi ,

First , thanks for always being helpful. My mom diagnosed with breast cancer on 2012. She had been under treatment for almost three years. The treatment was very long and painful. It was very hard days on both of us. Unfortunately, I was the only one who was taking care of her. She had not any health insurance as well. She was not US CITIZEN as well to be approve for Government benefits (health care Medicate).

I have very bad fear of recurrence. My thearspist doing his best to help me out with this fear. My mom oncologist ordered for pet scan for her. The oncologist do every year. Every year this is the difficult time on me . I love my mom so much . I didn't focus into my personal life and just took care of my mom . After, long and painful treatment I don't want recurance. I am sure no one wants . I just wanted to hear long term survivor stories with 3B.

I pray that God grant every cancer patient the courage and strength to overcome this illness. 💐💐 Amen

With love

Zohra

I'm an 8 yr Stage IIIIc. My Stage was never an 'issue' to me 'survival wise' but my being IBC (Inflammatory Breast Cancer) was. I was 63 when DXd and now 71 - living a very healthy and active life. I'm a very active 'outdoor woman' - I mow my yard (other yards too) with my push mower, fish/flyfish, hike, bicycle, ride/care for our horses, and many othe 'indoor' hobbies. As far as I know today, I am NED (No Evidence of Disease). BUT I refuse to dwell in any unknown negativity that might or might not present in the 'future'. There are no guarantees.

Your Mom is doing good after 5 yrs - that's FANTASTIC.

(My Heavenly Father has been with me every step of this part of my life's journey.)
