Ultrasound

Hi Everyone,

I am having a ductal excision on Thursday for an intraductal mass found through a ductogram. The mass completely blocked the duct so the dye could not get past the mass to see the entire duct. Today, I had an ultrasound (just in case something was missed.). The ultrasound tech would not talk to me at all! She took lots of pictures and probably 5-6 measurements. Are measurements a sign of masses found? Are they normally performed on a normal breast ultrasound with no masses? I'm hoping they measure normally during an ultrasound. Please let me know what yours was like. Thank you so much for listening!

Hey jenshepp, it looks like quite a few people were following your other thread (including DJMammo, who is an expert in this area). If you start a new one, they may not see your updated information. It is also difficult for women who come in the future to know what happened (if the initial post catches their attention because they have a similar issue) if that thread just stops. Just fyi.
