Tomorrow is my 6months appointment since finding out I have fibrocystic breast disease. At that appointment the mammo/us show 3 cysts and an enlarged lymph node, and that I have heterogeneous dense tissue. The dr found 3 more cysts and a small mass during an exam. The symptoms haven’t gone away, and some seem to have worsened. I can’t say it is because of my cycle as I had a hysterectomy several months ago.

There also feels like a few grains of rice in one spot that developed over the last few weeks. Plus the last couple of days my breast feel like it is on fire. I’m not real sure what they are looking for tomorrow. Hopefully all turns out ok.

    I went to my 6months follow-up appointment. My doctor said the original cysts were gone, but new ones were found. She also found one area that she called a nodule rather than a cysts. She also said it had undefined edges. I go next week for a rescreening of mammo/us. Should Ibe worried?
