VERY hesitant about radiation

I had my lumpectomy (7mm IDC) with clean margins and 0/3 lymphnodes.
Doctor wants me to have three weeks of radiation and then 5 years of hormonal therapy.
I am REALLY not comfortable with the radiation idea and all the short and long term side effects.
Anyone here who skipped it and cancer never came back?

I am also concern about radiation. Simulation plan says lung in field V20 G=12%. Anyone known how significant to lung?
