Hello breastcancer.org community,

I was dx'd with stage 3 bc in 2010 when I was 25, then dx'd stage 4 in 2014 when I was 29. I am 32 and living with MBC now. I have spent the past year working on a short film about shaving my head before my first chemo. We are having a big event this Sunday in DC to screen the film (only 12min long), followed by a panel discussion with myself, the filmmaker, survivors, advocates, and experts on how the film raises awareness about cancer in young adults (hosted by Laura Evans).

Film: The defiant act of shaving her head helps 25-year-old Ellie find hope in the face of a recent breast cancer diagnosis.

We would LOVE to invite all of you to join us. The event is free, but we are asking for registration. I'm not allowed to post links, so if you'd like to come, shoot me a message at becky.e.hall@gmail.com. I can also send you the link to the trailer.
