This long article from Propublica is worth the read. While the focus is on the pricing of prescription eye drops, there's a lot in here that's very relevant to the high prices of cancer medications, and the authors include a recent repackaging of Herceptin that increases the price for many patients (or their insurers).

    Interesting article, but I agree that it is probably dosing costs not volume of the dose. However, I believe there are ways to cut the per patient cost of these drugs by repackaging aftermarket. I suppose that is illegal in some way.
