My breast lump didn't hurt when I found it, but has began to hurt after being biopsied 3 weeks ago. The needle insertion site has also become painful, not terrible but I definitely notice it if I lay on my side. I'm also a week away from my period and thought maybe because I'm ER&PR+ that it might cause the lump to become more painful, because it is definitely more palpable. My breast would sometimes become sensitive prior to my menstrual cycle, however now I'm not sure if it was the cancer or my hormones.
