Waiting for biopsy appt. Worried it will be worse than DCIS...

I have pleomorphic calcifications and I am terrified that they could be more than DCIS. Does anyone know if it can be stage 3 or stage 4?

I understand you are worried. But staging cancer is a very complicated process. In terms of Stage IV it would involve CT or PET scans. Stage III has to do with tumor size and nodal involvement. Unfortunately, you, like all of us, will just have to wait until after surgery, and possibly follow up scans, to know what's going on. I wish you the best possible outcome.
