I’ve had 2 mammograms and was told I have loose groupings that are plromorphic and segmental. I know that’s bad. I canhandle DCIS just worried it’s invasive. Does anyone know how often it is invasive?

    have you had a biopsy yet? From my knowledge (and I'm not an expert, just speaking from experience) ONLY pathology can determine invasion. Upon my mammogram and ultrasound, the radiologist suspected microinvasion, but final pathology indicted pure grade DCIS.

    kmh, I agree with Rrobin. Your pathology results will be the final say in what is going on with your breast. No one can tell you "how often it is dcis" with the small amount of info you provided. Have you had a biopsy yet?
