Silvadene - Tips for Getting it Off?

I started using Silvadene this past Friday, following #22/30 rads. I've been using as directed, and know it's important to remove the buildup before tomorrow's treatment. I've tried swabbing with baby oil before showering with mild soap, but a residue remains. Any tips? Thanks in advance.

I think you can gently use saline to clean off the residue. I have used Silvadene several times - once for a deep second degree burn from a cooking accident, and again during reconstruction for non-healing wounds. You should be able to find a product like the one linked below in any pharmacy that carries first aid supplies.

Many thanks, SpecialK! Just stopped at Walgreen's to pick up some saline solution, and should be all set for tomorrow. The Silvadene works great, but is a bear to remove - and the baby oil, which my RO recommended, just isn't getting the job done.
