Who's on your Team?
One thing that I'm really grateful for are the people that have helped me tolerate my treatments and who I believe will help me get to my new normal.
Accupuncturist - a godsend both for the accupuncture treatments and the overall holistic advice she has given me
Yoga instructor - also has administered reiki. She specializes in cancer patients and offers a free yoga for cancer class weekly.
Before I began treatment, I went to the classes primarily to talk to others which helped with my anxiety. Once I started treatments, I really needed the restorative yoga that she focused on.
Massage therapist - follows a cancer protocol
Personal trainer - has specialized training in cancer patients.
I want to add a naturopath.
I'm curious to see who others have on their teams.

Acupuncturist and osteopath - both a godsend:), especially the acupuncturist
Naturopath - before I started chemo - will go back soon
Took 2 hypnotherapy sessions before I started chemo and it really helped a lot to stay calm during all treatments. I will go back for a few more.
A relaxation class I took at the cancer center
a Tai Chi DVD for cancer patients I ordered after diagnosis.
Plus stretching DVD from Esmaranda Esmonde-White which also helped, especially with my osteoarthritis from sports injury. I was very fit before cancer but knew that my high impact work-outs wouldn't be possible.
and lastly and very importantly my family, close friends and my dogs! One dog passed away a few days before my surgery but she hang in there for my diagnosis. I do feel she is still cheering me on - she was tough as nails:) and of course, my wonderful Husky - who is my personal trainer:) He was a sled dog rescue and we skijor/bikejor and he also runs with a team.

I have an oriental medicine doctor based in CA who has specialized in oncology for 20+ I've worked throughout my treatment. She was AWESOME and such a gift. I got thru chemo with zero issues, keeping my blood cell counts up the whole way thru.
additionally:
yoga 4-5 times per week
reiki
healing drums-AMAZING after my mastectomy!
IV therapy, including Vit C, and pre and post surgery vitamin IV
nutrition- general paleo diet. intermittent fasting and ketogenic diet during chemo
and of course weekly acupuncture
