A new drug Nerlynx (Neratinib) was approved by FDA as an extended adjuvant treatment for HER2+ breast cancer. Does anyone have experience to share with the new drug. I hear the side-effect of diarrhea is extremely bad and challenging to manage even with loperimide. Any stories with their experience will help all of us to better understand the benefit of the drug.

Thank you.

Ditto to testmax's question. I am beginning Nerlynx (Neratinib) mid June. I am surprised and a little worried that there are no other responses in this feed. Nerlynx was approved July, 2017 for HER 2+ breast cancer survivors, who are early stage, who had chemo and who are still within the one year time period after taking Herceptin for one year. The drug is manufactured by PUMA and dispensed in my area by Acreedo (sp?) Specialty Pharmacy. Nerlynx cost app. $12,000.00 per month and targets recurrence. The regimen is for one year. I have my Lomotil ready to take BEFORE I begin my first dosage of 6 tablets daily. I have my fluids ready to go also. If you have taken it, I am interested in your assessment of your well-being and side effects.

    Thank you.
