After a needle biopsy 2 days ago, I was diagnosed with a tubular adenoma in the lower outer quadrant . The doctor who performed the biopsy and informed me of the results stated that I could either have it removed or closely monitored. I am seeing my OB/Gyn tomorrow to discuss the recent findings. I am not finding very much information on breast tubular adenoma's and I was wondering if anyone can give me any insight. I did read that they can possibly caused by reproductive hormones, is this what may be making my period incredibly late off an on for several months? I am 33 years old and considering a second baby within the next year or so, so I am just trying to find whatever info I can! Also, it does cause some discharge, occasional pain (especially when pushed) and is very palpable, about the size of a pecan/walnut.... Should it stay or should it go?
