I lost my friend to breast cancer today
I lost my dear friend to breast cancer today. Her name was Marcela. She was only 45. She leaves a husband and a three year old son. I want people to know she lived. She mattered. She is loved. And she won't be forgotten.
I am so angry right now. I hate this frigging disease.

Dear Trishyla,
I am very sorry for your loss. She certainly did matter, and I hear you on your anger. I am sending you much love and care.
May you be well and strong, always.

I'm sorry for your loss. Extraprayers for Marcela, for you, and for her family. I'm sad for her little boy.

I'm so sorry - for you, for her husband and son, for the long life she should have had. I hate this disease, too.
-
Trishyla, I am so sad to read about the loss of your friend and that she leaves a little boy behind. My heart is with you.
-
Thank you all for your kind words. It's so raw right now. I cry, then I scream in anger. She was too young.
-
So sorry for your loss. We need to make metastatic BC a priority...

Trishyla -
I am so sorry for the loss of your friend. Her life mattered and she will continue to matter always....
I am sending my deepest sympathies to you and her family - I know the road ahead is difficult - sending strength and peace.
-
Thank you, Peace. I miss my friend. She was a sweet, lovely woman.

I am so sorry for the loss of your friend. I'm sure her husband and little boy are devastated. She was too young. It's hard to make sense of or understand why this happens. It's heartbreaking.
I have lost 2 friends to BC but neither were as young as your friend. It's still hard but worse for a young child who has lost his mother.
I feel your pain. I was angry too when they died. It's hard to feel optimistic we have made headway curing this horrific disease.

So sorry for the loss of your friend, and for her family

I am so sorry to hear of this. Yes she mattered. Of course she is loved. So unfair this disease is. I wish I had a magic wand. I would take away everyone's pain and heartache. I am sending her beloved friends and family my deepest sympathies. I just don't understand why something so beautiful doesn't stay here to spread beauty, but the mean horrible criminals, Are allowed to live?? . May you find some peace in knowing she is no longer suffering. May her family know they now have their own beautiful angel watching over them every second of everyday. Although never the same. ~M~
