I’ve also been diagnosed with this LC. I’ve had lung mets since the beginning (I was diagnosed stage IV to begin with, in January).

If you google LC, it looks BAD. I’m not sure what help I can be, other then A fellow LC patient. My doctor, seems ridiculously positive about the LC. I have asked her many times to be straight with me and she seems to be treating it like typical lung mets.

I really trust her, but I am also scared of the information floating around the internet. Just finished first cycle of xeloda, breathing has yet to improve. Are you symptomatic? She’s hoping to give me a couple more weeks of xeloda before we rescan. Basically LC is inflammation in the lungs caused by tumor blocking parts of bronchial tube- or so I think. What is your MO saying?

I’m so sorry you’re going through this, but it is nice to know I’m not alone.

I am traveling to India for medical treatment

I am symptomatic

Short of breath

Hoarsness

Dry cough

Weakness

Limited mobility due to SOB

i am worried yet have nothing to do

It is all inGod hands

What about the time factor is it important

My oxygen saturation is 88 what about u

I use a cylinder to help with SOB

I have been on steroids in the past but they didn’t do much. My SOB away getting worse so MO sent me for CAT scan and turns out I have pneumonia. So currently on antibiotics for that. I haven’t heard yet if the lymphangitic spread was better or worse. Be careful traveling!
