They want the lump removed right away?

My mom is still waiting for her test results to come back, but the nurse already wants to schedule her to have the lump removed. I think it is malignant. In which cases would they want it removed right away? Does this mean early stage breast cancer?

    It really is easier for people to respond to you if you stick to one thread. I had to search back through your posts to know what you are talking about.

    You wont know what stage it is, or even if it is cancer until you get the biopsy results. Having an appointment in place doesn't hurt, it saves some waiting time if it is needed.
