Supraclavicular radiation SEs???

I'm 12 treatments in (of 32), and have had a cold/cough/sore throat for over a week now...to the point that I've basically lost my voice the past 6 days. My RO wasn't concerned at my weekly see visit on Monday, but since this has continued I'm worried the voice loss, cough, and sore throat are radiation related. Has anyone else dealt with this? Thanks

They have a prescription for that. I had it. Didn't last too long, aweek or so. I used clorets because the prescription had lidocaine. The sore throat was on the radiation side and down my esophagus. It went away. Don't worry. There should be an RO on call during off hours if you need

I had a sore throat off and on throughout radiation, and my supraclavicular nodes were radiated. It would get better over the weekends and start back up late afternoon on Mondays. I drank a lot of sparkling water to push back the scratchiness. It went away shortly after stopping radiation.

Thanks for the reassurance, marijen and gb2115! I see my RO again on Monday so I will be sure to ask him about this. I told him about it last Monday, but thought it was just related to the cold since I was a couple days into the cold and losing my voice for a day isn't unusual for me...losing it for a week, however, is not normal.

I had a sore throats but only for one night, maybe unrelated. Through rads I drank a lot of water, over 80oz/day, which has been my routine since starting H&P since those tend to dry my skin out. I'm pretty sure all that water helped.

I am now 2 weeks post rads and my neck was red, dry and sore for several days but it feels better now that it's peeling.

Hope you are better soon. I had (and have) no known SE from supraclavicular radiation 2 years ago.
