How much Estrace do you use?

My MO finally allowed me to use Estrace after 8 months of ongoing vaginal atrophy issues, that then progressed to recurrent UTI's. I was prescribed .25 grams Estrace every other day by my Urogynocologist. I started on this dosage the first of August. I've noticed some improvement in my vaginal tissues, but still seem to be experiencing a lot of vaginal discomfort and pain. I know it's not a UTI because I'm on a daily prophylactic antibiotic.

If you're using Estrace, how much did you start out using and what is your maintenance dosage? .25 grams every other day seems really low and makes me wonder if I'll ever see good progress. BTW, I am in the process of the Mona Lisa treatment, but have only had one so far. You typically don't see a significant improvement with with the first treatment so I have a ways to go before ML will start to make a difference

balance - I should have also noted that I use UTI test strips to monitor my leukocytes and they are continually clear. I've had enough UTI's to now have a pretty good sense for the symptoms and when I truly have one. In this case most of my symptoms seem to be vaginal related. But i totally agree that every thing down there is interconnected which make it challenging to identify the source of the problem.
