Coughing after mastectomy and recon surgery

Wondering if anyone else is like me and started coughing a few weeks after your mastectomy with implant recon? It is now a year later and the docs cannot figure out how to make my cough go away. No antibiotic helped, major sinus surgery didn't solve it, allergy testing came back with very little to treat, etc. I am wondering if the cough and sinus inflammation might be a reaction to the only new thing in my body: my implant.

what kind of cough do you have? Is it dry or productive? I have a dry cough since going on tamoxifen but I'm supposing it's just from the drug drying my mouth out. But I don't think I started with that dry cough until I started tamoxifen.

My cough started dry but has been productive for many months. The only time it ever went away was after each round of chemo steroids.

hmm so if it responds to steroids it's likely inflammatory in nature. Have u tried the triglyceride form of fish oil-2000mg/ day of omega 3 fatty acids?
