Tumor Marker spike

what could possibly cause my tumor markers to spike? I had a bad stomach flu on Monday, (couldn't keep a THING down) until the following day.......then on Thursday, had my blood checked at the oncologist.
They called me to have another blood test as my results showed a big change in my marker numbers.
I'm worried. Really worried.
