Palliative Care and Hormonal Therapy

Hello to everyone in this community who was no more eager to be here than I and are now grateful for the presence of same. I apologise in advance if this question has already been answered here or belongs in another forum...Here goes...Recovering from lumpectomy + oncoplastic reduction...tumour crazy high ER +...AIs look like my best chance to save my life and I'm scared about the joint pain. Many years of osteoarthritis and already almost four years out from hip replacement, I don't know if AI therapy will look like "Oh, joint pain and hot flashes, what else is new?" or if it will be so bad that I have to wonder if it's worthwhile to stay alive. Would it be crazy weird to ask for palliative care this early in the process?
