First annual mammogram/US after DX

I had my first annual mammogram and US since my DX in 10/16. My BS ordered a diagnostic mammogram (3D) and an US. It was a very long appointment because they had lots of 'procedures' this AM (lumpectomies, biopsies) so they were behind schedule.

I had a MX on my left so the mammogram was only on my right breast. (I have very dense breast.) But the US checked the right breast, lymph nodes, and MX'd area. They gave me the results before I left -- ALL CLEAR! Whew.

I'm very glad I had the US too -- that gives a little extra piece of mind.
