Hello my name is Christie, my mom was diagnosed about 10 months ago with IDC and also IBC. She is in so much pain from the IBC. Is there a cream or anything that will help with this ? It seems every doctor we see has no clue at all as of what to do about this. It seems it is just a guessing game to them. Its so frustrating. I can't handle seeing her in so much pain. If someone knows Anything that will help I will be forever grateful. Thank you.

I don't know of any cream that will help. Your Mom needs to get another Dr. ASAP. If she truly has IBC time is important. Her Dr. should not be guessing. Ten months is NOT an acceptable length of time for guessing games for someone with IBC. She needs to see someone with experience and knowledge of IBC. Are her Drs. oncologists? Hopefully she lives somewhere she can find an experienced oncologist. May I ask where she lives? Perhaps someone living in her area will have a recommendation. Please don't put off getting her competent care. She needs and deserves it.

IF you would fill out the Profile with her Diagnosis, what has been done so far Treatment wise and the time frame that issues have been going on would help with getting pertinent replies.

You said that she was DX (diagnosed) with IDC (Invasive Ductal Carcenoma) 10 months ago and also Inflammatory Breast Cancer (IBC). But nothing about Stage(s), ER/PR and HER2 status or anything about any TXs (treatments). Her mammo, US and biopsies? Basically, nothing was written about what/when she has done.

I had no issues of pain with my IBC. 10 months after my DX. I had finished my TXs (neoadjuvant chemo, UMX, adjuvant chemo and rads). We are each so unique but with no info, it's next to impossible to pass on experiences we have had.
