Proton Radiation anyone?????

Just starting a post about Proton radiation. Role call of who has done this type or is currently doing it.

I just started Sept 18th . I will have 3 weeks. So far it is going good. The clinic I go to uses Mepitel film. This is supposed to help protect your skin.

Curious to hear how your experience (and others?) is with protons. I'm not starting radiation until mid-December, and am currently planning to do protons.

Right now, we're planning to dodo the simulation and then create a proton and a photon plan to evaluate the difference in impact on the heart ... if it's negligible (the center uses active breathing control to reduce exposure to the heart and lungs), I may consider going into a randomized clinical trial. If there's a notable difference, I'll opt for protons.
