Mobile cancerous breast lump
Hi, I was diagnosed with stage 2 B breast cancer with it in my axillary and intramammary lymph nodes along with it in my lymphoid tissue. When I was originally diagnosed, the lump was at the 6 o'clock position but as of July 2017, it's no longer attached and extremely mobile between the 12 o'clock position and 6 o'clock position. Have any of you ladies have this happen before?

my wife's tumor is moveable too. She's 2.6cm, at least stage 2 and it's always been moveable. She didn't have lvi but not sure on lymph nodes yet.
Sorry about your diagnosis. It's tough we know

Thank you for your reply. I have had the surgeon, radiologist or even breast cancer doctor explain to me how it once was attached n no longer is. None of them said they never seen anything like it before. I will pray for your wife. My life has become a living hell since the beginning of April after having my first chemotherapy treatment.
-
well some women in the breastfeeding topic did mention that their lumpswere movable as well. I agree it's not common and it worries us too.
We are early in the diagnosis and haven't done surgery or chemo yet. Needless to say, we are terrified and wish you the very best.
Her diagnosis is IDC and chemo is going to be recommended we think.

What is strange about mine is that it wasn't always mobile. In April, the lump was attached at the 6 o'clock position n just July, it shows it's no longer attached n it moves from 12 to 6 o'clock position. Just no one can explain how this happened.
-
yes, id say that's definitely different. My wife's lump has always been mobile since she noticed it. However, it's possible hers was imovvable first. They say these take years to grow so pre august, it's hard for us to provide insight. I'm sorry but I hope your treatments and journey are successful. This is a tough thing to manage through.

It has definitely been extremely hard for me since day one of having chemotherapy medicine. 12 days later, I had a reaction to the chemo n my body will not handle chemo. So where do I go from here? I pray for your wife.
-
Thank you for your well wishes. I appreciate it. I'm sorry your reaction to the chemo wasn't great and I i wish I had a better answer than my heartfelt regret for your situation. Have you discussed with your doctor? This site is also pretty incredible in terms of resources for women in your predicament (and my wife's). Maybe posting a topic regarding alternative therapies or options could make sense? I'm sure many could chime in..
-
Another topic thread would be more appropriate, because the "high risk" thread members are women who have not been diagnosed with cancer, sothey can't answer your questions.
-
What section would I post my thread as I'm not use to posting. Thank you
-
Thank you for talking to me. I'm just so confused by all the things is going on with me. Some is explainable n some not.
-
I'm not sure since you haven't completed your diagnosis profile and don't know what kind of cancer you're discussing. One of the IDC or ILC threads?
