Neck pain

Hi all,

I am really worried and need talking down a bit.

I was diagnosed in Sept 2014 with er+ pr+and 3 nodes involved. Since last Monday I have been waking up with a very painful neck, I am having pain when turning my head or looking up or down. |The pain has been getting worse day by day and no i am really sore in my right side of y back (at boob level)I am in the UK and cannot get a GP appointment until Tuesday.

Can anybody help or advise me? Does the pain I describe sound like mets pain? I never had a sore back that lasted this long.

I'm sorry that you're experiencing pain.
I've had neck pain ever since my biopsy last summer when I was kept in an insanely cramped position for an hour and a half and told not to move. Anyway, I've tried it all- PT, acupuncture, TMJ exercises NSAIDS, blah blah. Finally had an MRI that showed bulging discs in C2 and 3 (I think that's the location.) Like I imagine you feel, I worry that I have mets. I did have to exhaust all the above channels before my PCP ordered the MRI. Neck pain can be caused by so many things. With a BC diagnosis, we always have to be concerned more than the rest of the world! Good luck, and I hope you find relief.
