tamoxifen before surgery? 7 wk wait from chemo

My MO says 7 weeks is fine from chemo to surgery but I could start tamoxifen now for peace of mind but even that wasn't necessary. I would be on it for 2 1/2 weeks at this point (if I start) and then go off for surgery. Not sure if it's worth it but I'm so nervous I'm unprotected. Plus my breast is sore the past couple days. It was on and off during chemo too

I used tamoxifen when I was first diagnosed to shrink my tumor ADJ treatment and after a few months it has shrunk by 65%. I switched from Tamoxifen to Femara after a few months but for me the treatment worked great to kill my ILC. I was very ER and PR positive but it certainly worked for me.
