liver enzymes & splitting pills

Hi everyone I am in a situation where I may have to go off of tamoxifen. My liver markers keep going up. Has anyone had this happen. I had an oophrectomy so I can take both kinds of HT. I am trying to explore my options.

• If you had your liver markers go up on either HT can you share your story and how it was resolved. I went off of Tamoxifen for 3 weeks but my markers did not go down. My MO wants me to just stay on Tamoxifen but I am willing to revisit Femara
• If I stay on Tamoxifen I could get the 10mg morning and night but I have a lot of it can I split the pill myself?
• IF I go back on Femara or exemestane ( I will never try arimidex again) I want to split the pills. Do they have a coating or could I do this ?

I am trying not to freak out too much. I have a refferrel to a gastroenterist but I am not sure whether to ask the MO to switch me back or stay the course with Tamoxifen. No idea which would be better for my liver.
