Hi I had my regular mammogram Jan 2017. It was normal.for the last couple of weeks I've had pain in my left breast. I went to the doc and she ordered a ultrasound. She said it was normal but had 2 very small benign cysts. She said she would order a mammagram for my piece of mind. She said it was normal with the small cyst showing up. I got the report from the ultrasound and it did say 2 small benign cysts. It also said, Benignold inflammatory node of the axilla. I don't understand this and when I try to research it ,it says possible cancer. I have awful anxiety and was just starting to relax a little and I read this. I don't understand how they know it's an old inflamed node. Anyone that could please help me I'd appreciate it

southenmess, benign nodes with some inflammation (that happens sometimes when there have been bacteria or viruses in the system) are b9; meaning NOT cancer. If you are still worried, please call the provider who ordered the imaging and have them explain it to you for your peace of mind.
