Lita! I hope all went well for you! You will be taking over the brain Mets thread before you know it! Sofia is so lovely. How is your DD? My daughter is only 25 and she sticks to me like glue. If we can only make it easier on them. Your sense of love and humor helps her a lot I am sure. A little thing like death won't keep us away! My husband died 20 years ago and he still lives beside me! Your prayer is so eloquent. Onward and upward!

I was trimming the hedges, which were completely overgrown. One of the hedges bit my ear! There were thorny vines tangled in the hedges and it cut my ear. I thought, "you naughty hedges. Are you related to Lita's weeds!" 

I hope your face is healing from your fall. Did you get your new glasses yet?

Just got the call that my glasses are ready....yaaay!

I will pick them up after my 5th radiation zap this afternoon. Nothing fancy...I had an old pair of frames, so they will just pop the new lenses into those.

I'm gonna miss these uber-secretary black frames, tho.
