I made it. Five years.

Hello Triple Positive sisters,

I just wanted to offer some hope to all of you by letting you know that as of August 16, I was five years cancer-free. I had Invasive Lobular Triple Positive breast cancer, Stage 1. I know that when I was going through the surgery, radiation and Arimidex (still on it), I wanted to hear from someone who made it. So I want you all to know, it can and does happen.

Now if I can just keep this record going....My doctor helpfully reminded me that I'll never be completely cancer-free. Thanks a lot Sir Buzzkill......But for now, I celebrate.

Yes - the buzzkill. It's the whole CYA thing. Wouldn't want to be wrong, would they? ;-)
