Waiting game

Hello all,

I've never posted on anything like this before but feel at a complete loss as to what to do. I had an ultrasound of a lump on my right breast back in May. It was thought to be unsuspicious so they sent me away and said they'd review things in 6 weeks. I had no review letter sent so I called and got one myself after 9 weeks. There was still a lump so I had a biopsy. They still thought there was nothing to worry about but I got my results last week which said i had DCIS which is not life threatening and is a pre cancer that can be easily treated. I felt positive with this but during my appointment they wanted to carry out another ultrasound & mamogram where they said there were changes! I also had another core biopsy done on my breast & under my arm. I get my results on the 11th but i am scared bits and feel certain I have invasive cancer! I've not told anyone so would love to hear similar stories or words of wisdom.
