Sorry lost log in & email but still here & kicking ;)
Had to create a new log in. Email had been lost also. But still here. Originally diagnosed March 2012 with stage 4 Her2+. Fought a reoccurrance found last year & still going through surgeries . Hopefully almost done with surgeries soon to just continuing on Herceptin & Perjeta. Reoccurrance we don't know. Had to go off Herceptin & Perjeta for a period of time & made the choice of seeing how long could remain off. Was a nice 3 years. Reoccurrance in same breast. But sadly we don't know much of why. Because also for some reason tumor board had also turned down radiation on left breast after lumpectomy & only did radiation on my mediastinum. So this time double mastectomy and thankfully did double because almost didn't because wasn't much of chance of being in right breast but was tested to have cancer in as well one doctoral other non-ductoral. Sorry hard for me to remember things. But diagnosed stage 4 her2+ at 34. Now 40 & battled re-occurance & still going. Still working on reconstruction started Feb 3rd with few hic ups. Having to place left expander back in but had to undergo complete hysterectomy before moving forward which thankfully tested clear of cancer but still needed done & healed & now about to get left expander put back in & finally start expanding & reconstruction. Fortunately right expander has been able to remain in. Left has had numerous complications & got sadly messed up & had to be removed & finally about to be placed back in sometime soon. Next appointment Sept 11th hopefully find out when
. Just had my last regular every 3 week Herceptin Perjeta this last Monday. Worst battle fighting as well that won't stop climbing also is weight gain. I was researching it & led me back to these boards lol
. Have been thinking steroids but saw come across thread about Herceptin & weight gain but has been regular & terrible & body cannot handle much of any more at all. Ankles knees etc. Heaviest ever been & still climbing even upped exercise after finally healed from surgery & still climbing. But still here. Blessed to still be here with my family. My husband & our 3 kids. Our oldest just graduated high school
. But bit update. Still fighting & still here. Always busy. Mom & wife & cancer.

Thank you DivineMrsM. Looking forward to surgery being finished & hopefully hormone changes start adjusting. A lot more surgeries & adjustments this 2nd round of fighting. Turned 40 this year & looks like no more mammograms
lol.
