Tamoxifen Pause for Surgery

I know this has been asked before (I searched the site) but would love new input. I have upcoming Exchange surgery and doctors seem to disagree about time to stop Tamoxifen. And when to start back.
Anyone have input on what they did for Exchange surgery?
