CT Scan for Radiation Found Mass in Other Breast

Hey Ladies!

So I went yesterday for my radiation simulation, and I'm scheduled to start treatment on Tuesday. Last night, my RO called and said the scan shows a mass on the other breast and I need an ultrasound on it. I don't know why the mammogram I had in July didn't catch it. It seems like it should have.

I was doing really well, other than the swelling that my Mo wasn't concerned about, but my RO was. She's sending me to get checked for lymphedema. But now, I just have a sense of dread. I'm not mentally ready for this. I guess I just needed to vent. Thanks for listening.
