I had total mastectomy right side in 2015.No chemo ,no radiation,SNB (3 nodes all negative).It was DCIS high grade 5cm .I was advised 6 months follow up for 5 yrs and a yearly mammogram.

Risk factors:No children,Age 45, and now history of DCIS.I am having my annual mammogram (3D due to dense breast)next week and visit to the MO.I want to know what else I need to do .Since cancers have no symptoms many times.Is it enough to just have mammogram?Moreover it's for left breast only.Are there any other tests for people like us ?or what should I be looking for ,in my over all body?Any unusual pain or something?I mean how I can be more aware ?what should I ask my MO Since I moved from FL to CA I'm seeing this MO first time.
